What is the main component of quartz

What is long water mouth

When molten steel is poured from the ladle to the tundish, in order to avoid oxidation and splash, a long water port is installed at the lower end of the sliding water port at the bottom of the ladle, one end is connected to the water port, and the other end is inserted into the molten steel of the tundish for sealed protection pouring. The functions of the long water mouth are as follows:(1) to prevent the secondary oxidation of molten steel and improve the quality of steel;(2) to reduce the oxidation products of the easily oxidized elements in the steel on the inner wall of the nozzle and prolong its service life;(3) the long water mouth can be used many times to reduce the consumption of refractory materials.

Anti-blocking measures for stopper

Plug rod anti-blocking measures: 1, plug rod blowing argon. When casting special steel with Ti, Ca or Si elements, the joint part of the rod end and the nozzle is easy to form inclusion blockage. The plug head is porous and slit, and argon is blown to the submerged nozzle from here to prevent nodulation and blockage. 2. Air wash long water mouth. The argon gas is blown from the upper end of the core tube of the tundish plug rod and enters the injection flow through the porous plug brick, which not only prevents the nozzle from being blocked, but also has the effect of refining the inclusion and reducing the inclusion. 3, spinel-carbon plug rod anti-blocking. The calcium treated steel corrodes the aluminum carbonaceous material, and the newly developed spinel-carbon plug rod is serious. It does not react with mCaO · nAl2O3, and the material has high strength and good corrosion resistance.
